Funkademia is Manchester's most successful and longest
running soul-funktion.
The night takes place every Saturday to consistently full
houses feeding a friendly crowd with a diet of pure
unadulterated
soul-funk.
We bill our night as a 'chronological history of soul'
with our exclusive dj collective taking you on a journey
through four decades of the very best soul, funk, rare
groove, rap & hiphop with a touch of smooth r&b.

Funkademia takes place every Saturday night in
Manchester’s coolest nightclub 1 Central Street.
One Central Street is located right in the heart
of the Manchester City Centre close to the Town
Hall. A sexy clubroom with loads of atmosphere
- perfect for our soulful soires.
Funkademia kicks off at 10pm and runs through until
3.00am.
Funkademia
sells out every week so you are advised to arrive early
or get yourselves advance tickets from
Skiddle to avoid
the queues and the sold out signs.
Advance
tickets are cheaper than the door price, they guarantee
your admission plus they get you to the front of
the queue.
Funkademia membership is available through our Membership
Page which allows you to queue jump and gets
you in half price before 11pm.
